CAR Rules 21 through 40 establish the policies and procedures by which Members, Assigned Risk Companies (ARCs) and
Assigned Risk Producers (ARPs) are governed with regard to the operation of, and participation in, the Massachusetts Automobile
Insurance Plan (MAIP).
Prior year versions of the Rules are available beginning with the July 16, 2007 Rules promulgated by the Commissioner of Insurance, through the current set of Rules. Also available is a summary of specific Rule amendments approved during each calendar year including a brief description and approval date of the Rule modification and the CAR Bulletin(s) in which the approval was announced.
