Obtaining Viewers and Plug-ins

Browser Settings

Pop-ups - Some of CAR's website requires pop-up windows. Please be sure to allow pop-ups for www.commauto.com.

JavaScript - CAR's website requires that JavaScript be enabled when viewing web pages.

Java - Certain reports and applications require the Java Plug-in be installed. Additional information regarding Java can be found on our Reports Information page.

Internet Connection

CAR's website can be accessed by 56k or faster modem. For best performance a broadband connect or better is strongly recommended.

Sound Card

CAR utilizes audio recording in its tutorials. A sound card with headphones or speakers is necessary to take advantage of the audio portion of the presentation.

Other than Windows Operating Systems

CAR's website is thoroughly tested and fully supported by the above system recommendations. The website can however be viewed using open source and Apple products but is not tested or supported to meet the requirements of those systems.
