Transcript
A Business Transcript of all committee meetings is available to industry
representatives upon request. This service supplements the Records of Meeting that
are routinely produced for all meetings and made available in the
Committees section of CAR’s website.
The transcription process requires ten business days at a cost of $12.25 per page, plus
postage/delivery charge. A copy of the Transcript will be retained by CAR.
CD Recording of Meeting
A CD recording of any committee meeting is available to industry representatives free of charge
in two formats, either Windows Media Audio (WMA) or ForTheRecord (FTR) format. Windows Media Audio
can be listened to with Windows Media Player (available on most PCs). ForTheRecord is a proprietary
format requiring The FTR Player software. The executable for this software, including a User Guide,
will be provided by CAR. It is also available for free at www.fortherecord.com. The FTR format allows
for additional audio and transcription features, such as the ability to control four different
microphone tracks, view the current meeting time, and use a USB-compatible foot pedal.
