Software Developer
Description: The Software Developer builds applications to enable
the organization to achieve its goals. Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging,
and documenting solutions for complex projects using various tools on multiple platforms.
Salary Range: $43,000 - $45,000
Experience: Entry Level (0 - 2 years)
- Strong communication skills are a must
- Good working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
- Skilled in at least one programming language such as Java or C#
- .NET programming experience developing web-based applications
- Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to build solutions along with a familiarity with software development life cycle and design patterns
- Basic working knowledge of Databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or
- MySql and the development of data structures
- Some knowledge of mainframe development using COBOL is a plus
Education: Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields:
- Information Technology
- Computer Systems
- Or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Certification: Not Required
